Alberta winters are notoriously tough on horse owners. Sub-zero temperatures, howling winds, and heavy snow often mean months of missed training and idle horses. For DeWinton roper Robert Klein, waiting around for spring just wasn’t an option.
To keep his horses conditioned and continue roping comfortably year-round, Robert partnered with Integrity Post Structures to design and build a fully customized, heavy-duty post-frame indoor riding arena tailored specifically to his discipline and daily operations.
Designed for Roping, Built for Convenience
A great equestrian building starts with a layout that works with you, not against you. Robert needed a multi-functional space that seamlessly combined livestock handling, riding space, and comfortable human amenities under one connected footprint.
The design features a seamless breezeway connecting the main riding arena to an attached barn, tack room, and private office. To keep traffic flow efficient and safe, large overhead doors were positioned on opposing ends—one dedicated specifically to livestock movement and the other for horses.

The Integrity Difference: Craftsmanship & Service
When you’re working horses inside an arena, the details matter. From clean finishing trims to durable interior protection, every element of an Integrity building is engineered to withstand daily wear and tear while looking sharp for decades to come.
For Robert, the quality of execution and the hassle-free building experience made all the difference.
“They did a really nice job. It was all the finishing stuff—the way they put the wall on and capped the top of the wall,” says Klein. “The crew was great. It was built on time, not a lot of complications. The service was excellent.”
Whether you are training performance horses, boarding, or simply looking to ride through the coldest winter months, an Integrity post-frame riding arena delivers the durability, natural light, and custom workflow your property needs.
