Okotoks Pickleball & Tennis Center

Building the Okotoks Pickleball Centre with Integrity

Efficient, Durable Community Sports Facility

Okotoks, a vibrant and growing community just south of Calgary, is on the cusp of welcoming a state-of-the-art Pickleball & Tennis Centre – a new hub for sports enthusiasts of all ages. What began as a vision among passionate community members is now becoming reality, with construction officially underway. Behind this exciting development lies a story of collaboration, innovation and expert construction solutions.

Why Integrity Post Structures was the Right Choice

Integrity Post Structures was chosen as the builder for this landmark municipal project thanks to our expertise in post-frame design and construction. With years of experience delivering high-quality, cost-effective and efficient buildings, we were uniquely positioned to help bring the Pickleball Centre to life.

“We’re passionate about post-frame construction because it allows us to deliver high-quality results, quickly and cost-effectively,” says Jerry Myer, founder of Integrity Post Structures. “It’s the perfect approach for large, open buildings like the Pickleball Centre, where space, efficiency and sustainability are critical.”

Post-Frame Construction: The Ideal Solution

For public projects like a Pickleball Centre, municipalities need buildings that are functional, flexible and budget-friendly. The Town of Okotoks together with the Okotoks Pickleball and Tennis Centre Society had a clear vision for their new recreation facility.

While traditional stick frame and steel construction were considered, post-frame construction emerged as the clear winner. Post-frame allows for open, flexible spaces, faster build times and energy efficiency. These are all crucial factors, especially considering the time-sensitive nature and costs of municipal projects.

A Partnership Built on Collaboration

Choosing the right builder was as important as selecting the right construction method. Ryan Sawatzky, president of the Okotoks Pickleball and Tennis Centre Society, shared “it wasn’t just about finding a company with the right expertise. We needed a partner who shared our vision and understood the importance of delivering a building that would become a lasting community hub.”

Integrity’s commitment to customer satisfaction, collaboration and attention to detail made us the ideal partner. From engineering solutions to exterior design, our team worked closely with the project stakeholders to ensure every aspect of the building aligned with the community’s long-term goals.

“We’re not just constructing a building – we’re creating a space people will use for generations. Every detail matters,” says Troy Hunter, the Integrity Sales Representative responsible for the project.

Looking Forward Toward the Future

Okotoks Pickleball & Tennis Center

Construction is well underway, and the excitement in Okotoks is palpable. The new Pickleball & Tennis Centre will provide a premier recreational facility, strengthen community connections, and support active lifestyles for years to come.

“There’s something incredibly rewarding about knowing that our work will bring people together in meaningful ways,” reflects Jerry Myer. “We’re building more than a facility – we’re building a space that will contribute to the health, well-being, and social fabric of Okotoks for years to come.”

Integrity Post Structures is proud to play a key role in this project and demonstrate how post-frame construction can deliver efficient, high-quality, and sustainable community buildings.
