Post Frame Buildings: Features And Options – Part 1

Our post frame buildings have a wide variety of features and options that allow you to customize a building for your specific needs. Experienced and knowledgeable staff at Integrity will go over all your options with you so that you get the building designed exactly the way you want.

1. PERMA-COLUMNS

Exclusive to Integrity in Canada, we offer the Perma-Column for post frame. Perma-Columns are precast concrete columns that allow for a concrete foundation on your post frame building. These 5’ precast concrete columns keep wood above ground, which ensures that your building’s foundation will last. The Perma-Column is the first product that combines the economy of post frame construction with the durability of a concrete foundation.

2. DOORS

Overhead, bi-fold, sliding or walk-in doors. Which door is the best choice for your building? We have a wide selection of doors that will make your post frame building functional for your specific needs. Additionally, doors impact the value of your building. We’re not just talking about being visually appealing; an energy-efficient model adds to the overall value of your building, saving as much as 10 percent on energy bills. Every post frame building needs at least one door. Generally, most buildings require two or more doors to be the most useable for you. But how do you choose the doors that are the most suitable for your operation? After all, this is one of the most important decisions when designing a building. Click on your door options below to get more info.

3. LEAN-TOS

A lean-to is a roof with a single slope or a building with three walls and a single sloping roof. Lean-tos can be exterior additions that are added to an existing wall and have a downward-slanting roof. Lean-tos are a popular post frame building option. They can extend the functionality of your building for a wide variety of uses from machinery or feed storage to commercial office space.

LEAN-TO OPTIONS

  • Available in various widths and lengths
  • Can be built to be “closed” or “open”
  • Optional for both insulated and cold storage buildings alike
