- Corrosion Inhibitor:
Protecting the rebar reinforcement from rusting, the final admixture is added to give freeze/thaw protection with any type of weather condition.
- Shock Resistance:
Microfibers in the Perma-Column® Posts add shock resistance and durability. Microsilicia enhances flexural/compressive strength and erosion resistance.
- Steel Brackets:
The wood column on the Perma-Column® Posts is attached to a “U” shaped steel bracket made of ¼” steel with ½” thru-bolts and ¼” lags. This bracket is robotically welded to steel reinforcement that runs the entire length of the column. This is the same with all of our structures and commercial buildings.
